Hoof Bandage

This dressing has been developed together with Danish professional hoof trimmers and farmers. Produced in absolute best quality, to ensure long treatment time. This dressing is low stretch & with easy tear, to ensure that the user don’t over tighten the bandage.

Bovi White 2.0

A salicylic acid product that utilizes all the benefits while avoiding all the disadvantages.

Use: For hoof bandaging

Properties: Extremely adhesive, good penetration capability, does not damage healthy skin.

Contains: 38% salicylic acid

Effects:

A hoof care product needs to be extremely sticky and protective, even after the bandages come off. This product contains 38% salicylic acid, which slowly activates upon application, allowing the bandage to also remain in place for up to 14 days. Bovi white 2.0 keeps the wound protected, free from bacteria, and acts exfoliating on dead tissue.

Hoof Glue

A good 2-component glue is essential when attaching hoof blocks, ensuring a strong, durable bond that withstands daily wear. Our 2-component glue, developed collaboratively with hoof trimmers and farmers, possesses a slightly pasty viscosity, ensuring the glue remains in place without dripping.

Lanolin – Effects:

Lanolin is a so-called emollient (softening agent) that is moisturizing and helps retain moisture. Besides its skin care properties, lanolin also acts as both an anti-inflammatory and antibacterial agent. This makes lanolin useful for wound care, among other things.

What is Lanolin:

Lanolin is purified fat from sheep’s wool. It is secreted by glands in the sheep’s hair follicles and forms a protective layer of fat on the wool, providing the sheep with effective protection against wind and weather.

Lanolin is a well-known product that, due to its protective properties, is used in shampoos, soaps, creams, and cosmetics.

Tar Spray

Tar has been a well-known treatment product for hoof care for many years, utilizing tar’s natural antiseptic properties.

Use: After hoof bandaging, during hoof trimming, and for general wound care.

Wood Tar – Effects:

It can be sprayed on wet or damp hooves, as tar can displace moisture. A product that is extremely adhesive and an excellent protective wound spray, by utilizing tar’s natural antiseptic properties and keeping flies away.
